The Anaheim Ducks will be without their leading scorer on Monday.
Centre Leo Carlsson has been ruled out of the team's game against the Seattle Kraken with a lower-body injury, the team announced on Monday.
It is unclear how Carlsson sustained the injury, but he is considered to be day-to-day.
This will be Carlsson's first missed game of the season.
The 20-year-old is having a career year, leading the Ducks in scoring with 17 goals and 41 points in 36 games. This is the third most by any player under the age of 21 in the NHL.
Anaheim currently sits at first place in the Pacific Division with 44 points, and will look to get past a Kraken team that is currently tied for last place in the Western Conference.
